User messaging allows the user to feel in control and confident throughout the subscription management process. By adding subscription related information and notifications we can help the user understand what will happen to their subscriptions, keep them in the loop and remind them of the value of the service.
For direct user messaging we offer two solution alternatives:
- Push notifications
- In-app notifications
For user re-entry we offer two solutions:
- Communication from entry point
- Subscription history view
We recommend implementing a combination of these, as each of the solutions complement each other and together provide a holistic perspective that’s in line with user expectations. As a fallback solution, we can also send subscription updates via email, though this method is not recommended.
